Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your engagement with BLOA Maintenance Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No: 16530836) with its registered address at 55 Beech Avenue, Oldham, England, OL4 2EE. By instructing us to carry out works or by signing a project agreement, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

BLOA Maintenance Limited provides renovation, refurbishment, maintenance and decoration services for residential and commercial properties. The specific scope of works for each project shall be set out in a written quotation or project agreement issued to the Client prior to commencement of works.

2. Quotations and Pricing

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. The contract price will be fixed as agreed at the time of instruction, subject to any authorised variations. Where unforeseen structural or material conditions arise during works, we will notify the Client immediately and obtain written approval before proceeding with any additional works.

BLOA Maintenance Limited warrants that all works will be carried out with reasonable skill and care, using materials of satisfactory quality. We offer a 12-month defects liability period from the date of practical completion, during which we will rectify any defects arising from our workmanship at no additional cost to the Client, provided that:

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BLOA Maintenance Limited's total liability to the Client, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall not exceed the total contract value of the project giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profit or loss of use, howsoever arising.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, specifications and other documents prepared by BLOA Maintenance Limited remain our intellectual property unless ownership is expressly transferred in writing. The Client is granted a licence to use such documents solely for the purpose of the project described in the project agreement.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on our website and will apply to any new project agreements entered into after the date of publication.
